The Smacks Burger story

From 1 South London
store to 14 & counting

Kaysor Ali opened the first Smacks in Thornton Heath in 2021: freshly ground 100% Aberdeen Angus beef, fresh chicken prepared daily on site, hand-made sauces and a fully halal menu, all priced to please.

Delivery-only dark kitchens followed, then moved onto the high street once lockdown eased. Smacks now trades from 13 UK stores and one in Dubai, with a USA opening next and 26m+ organic views behind the brand.

The operating model

Systemised to be copied,
store after store

Every outlet runs the same product mix, the same sauces and the same supply chain. That is what makes the rollout franchisable.

  • Fresh,
    every day

100% Aberdeen Angus beef, ground on site each day and cooked to order. Fresh chicken prepared daily. Fully halal.

  • One taste,
    every store

Signature sauces are hand-made centrally and sent to every store, so Glasgow tastes exactly like Croydon.

  • Owns the
    supply chain

Head office supplies every store and earns a margin on all goods, while franchisees still buy at competitive prices.

  • Delivery-first
    by design

EPOS integrated with Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat. App and loyalty data feed one customer database.
